The A. Mitchell Powell Jr. Public Library is a branch of the Coweta Public Library System. The library has more than 100,000 books, videos, and audio items, as well as a computer center with access to the Internet and Microsoft Office software. The library offers various programs to people of all ages.

About our name
The library is named in memory of A. Mitchell Powell Jr., who served as Coweta County attorney for 18 years and as chairman of the Coweta County Board of Education.
