Description
Laptime
is a free 30-minute program that meets once a week for approximately eight to 12 weeks. It is designed for a 2-year-old and an adult working together. Children learn songs, fingerplays, and pre-reading skills, and they share picture storybooks. Registration is required.

The registration form for Laptime is available at the front desk, in the children’s room, and in this PDF file.* Please return completed registration forms to the library. Children may be registered before their second birthday, but they will not be placed in a class until they have turned 2. Parents will be notified by mail of completed registration and class times.

At the end of each eight-to-12-week session, adults may register their children for the next session if the child is still 2. Children who have turned 3 during the session will graduate and are invited to attend Storytime on Tuesday mornings at 10:30 and/or Family Night on Thursday evenings at 7:00. These two programs do not require registration.
