Library Rules

Please observe the following rules while in the library. Repeat offenders will be requested to leave the library premises and readmitted only with the director's approval.

Do not abuse books, materials, equipment, or library property. This includes littering
   of library facilities/property, defacing library property, and moving library furnishings.

Smoking is prohibited by state law anywhere on the library property, both inside
   and outside.

Chewing or dipping of tobacco is prohibited in the library.

Loud, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior will not be permitted.

Food and beverages are not permitted in the library.

Shirts and shoes are required.

Rudeness to employees or other patrons will not be tolerated.

Wandering aimlessly, loitering, or sleeping is not permitted.

Restrooms are to be used properly.

Pets are not allowed in the library.

Children nine years old and under must be accompanied by an adult for
   their protection.

Library employees will not supervise children.

Parents are requested to pick up their children at or before closing time. Employees
   will leave at scheduled closing times.
